Warm design for a classic New York City home

A one of a kind artistic house interior.

 

 

During the period of 18 months we have completely gutted and renovated this four story NYC townhouse. Working with a Client who is an artist, was both, challenging and fun.
We did our best to preserve the character of the house, while introducing the latest technology.

 

 

Braking rules, inventing new methods...

 

We have spent quite a few years working with the owner of this magnificent home, As a developer and an architect, the Client requested and inspired us to create some unprecedented finishes, such as the glass floors. The scope of work also included large roof terrace area.

 

 

A Trendy Downtown Home gets a new Kitchen.

Modern and Beautiful Workspace

 

Several years ago we’ve built a brand new office for Union Capitol Corporation.

The scope included 4,000 SF of interior space as well as a large outdoor terrace garden.

"Several years ago, Zibi Swiecki undertook a complete, gut renovation of our pre-war apartment in the West Village. We had hoped to preserve some of the original architectural elements but owing to the condition of the apartment, this was not possible. Instead we opted for a reorganization of the space utilizing clean, modern lines and organic, tactile materials such as custom oak woodwork, reclaimed walnut flooring and concrete surfaces. This level of design required capable leadership, excellent craftsmanship and a commitment to detail, all of which we received in Zibi's hands.
